Craft beers are known for their complexity, their multi-layered taste nuances and their challenging character. Súria is completely different: The American Pale Ale from the Spanish brewery La Pirata is clearly one of the craft beers, but is characterized by its fine balance and the refreshing and benevolent style. The beer has a tasty 5.0% alcohol content and is one of the more hop-oriented candidates among the pale ales. Hops and malt are linked in a harmonious symbiosis and complement each other.
The unusual pale ale flows into the glass in a golden amber tone and has a small crown of snow-white foam on its clear body. The beer is olfactory with delicate notes of pink grapefruit, sweet pineapple and a hint of floral hops. The initial taste is velvety soft and delicious: Large hop aromas bloom on the tongue and pamper the palate with a bouquet of grapefruit, lemon zest, sun-ripened orange and blooming flowers. The malt starts with aromas of oven-fresh biscuits and roasted grain. The harmony of hops and malt is accompanied by a fine, increasing bitterness. The finish is dry and stays on the tongue for a long time with its crisp bitterness and juicy citrus notes.
Súria is also gluten-free and can also be enjoyed by people who cannot digest gluten.
