In a magical series, the brewers at Finnish-Estonian brewery Sori indulge their love and devotion to hops. The Symphony of Hops is a firework of hop art and masterfully explores the limits of hopsiness. Each beer is a tribute to the wealth of flavors found in different hop varieties — just the right beers for all the hopheads out there!
Ensemble Two is the second beer in the round and a juicy New England Double IPA. The full-bodied beer delivers a hefty 8.0% ABV and revolves around the potential of the Mosaic and Enigma hop varieties. In the course of double dry hopping, every little nuance of taste was elicited from the green gold and no expense was spared with the crisp bitterness either. According to the brewers themselves, this DDH Double IPA is a beast.
In the glass, the beast appears in innocent amber gold. An airy crown of snow-white foam sits enthroned on the beautifully cloudy body, enticingly scented with passion fruit, citrus fruit and green hops. The first sip reveals a complex flavor profile that caresses the palate with notes of freshly mown grass, tropical fruit and sun-kissed citrus. A powerful bitterness skilfully balances the juicy fruitiness and gives the beer the finishing touch.
