Again and again, brewers dare to modernize a real classic: Ever since its invention 180 years ago, Pils has been one of the most popular styles of beer and hasn’t changed significantly since then. A perfect Pilsner should be part of every brewer’s repertoire, but for some this is not enough. They shake the monopoly of traditional recipes and want to give the cult beer a new look. This is a real challenge that few are up to.
The best candidates for such a mammoth project are the brewers of the brewery of the same name. Mammut Craft Beer hails from Montenegro and has a pilsner in its range that challenges the status quo with an extra portion of hops. The brew is about and named after the Mosaic variety. Every subtle nuance of taste of the green gold was transported into the beer by means of dry hopping, resulting in a complex aroma and a wealth of character.
The stuffed Pilsner flows into the glass in a clear corn yellow and completes its perfect look with a white head of foam. Scent and taste are dominated by a mixture of floral notes, juicy tropical fruit, light malt and sparkling citrus notes. Mosaic is a pleasure for all the senses and tastefully takes the pleasure of Pils to the next level.
