Here we go!
Three fantastic breweries came together to create this ruby-red beer specialty and brewed it together in a three-country collaboration. Freigeist Bierkultur represents Germany, Birrificio Italiano enters the ring for Italy and the brewers from Bevog come from Austria. By joining forces, the hop artists have created a beer that couldn't be more extraordinary: Andiamo is a sour beer that was brewed with cherries and raspberries and additionally acidified to intensify the aroma palette. The result is a sour beer that stands out from its colleagues with its roasted malty range and great volume.
Andiamo appears in a deep, dark mahogany tone in the glass and shimmers in the color of the most magnificent rubies. A fleeting crown of slightly tinted, fine-pored foam sits atop the beer and after a short time leaves room for a tempting scent: an unusual mixture of tart raspberries and delicately melting milk chocolate tickles the olfactory nerves. A hint of coffee and caramel join in and make you extremely excited to take the first sip. This follows the olfactory first impression and pampers the tongue with strong roasted malt notes, soft caramel, freshly brewed mocha and caramelized nuts. Aromas of dark cherries, ripe raspberries and wild berries contribute a fine sweetness and the characteristic acidity. Andiamo has a velvety mouthfeel and leaves a wave of fruit with a subtle hint of smoke on the tongue with the last sip.
