A large number of plants grow and thrive on Franconia’s fertile soil: in addition to grain, corn, potatoes and pumpkins, hops are also cultivated here. The aromatic umbels for our Franconian hop garden come from our hop farmer friends: Nürnbier supplies its flowers from Roth auf der Höh and the Hopfenhof Friedrich grows its hops in Spalt. We brew our Wet Hop Pale Ale.c with an incredible 80 kilograms of their best umbels
We added this unbelievable amount of freshly harvested umbels to the wort together with Nürnbier in the refrigerated ship of the new brewery in Schnaid. Our brew is the only refrigerated green hop Pale Ale in Germany!
