Best friends stick together through thick and thin. They steal horses together and can rely on each other in every situation, no matter how difficult. Best friends know us inside and out, know all our secrets and still like each other. When the teams from Lieber Waldi from Cologne and White Dog Brewery from Dordrecht in the Netherlands met to brew together, all was still well with the world. After the first collaboration brew was extremely successful some time ago, the breweries wanted to create another friendship beer. However, when the White Dog Brewery mascot died less than two weeks later, it was clear that the collaborative effort had to be a beery homage to Westie. Good Old Doggy Days is a reminder of the good old days when Westie jumped around happily and infected everyone with his exuberant joy.

The Single Dry Hopped Helle was brewed with full-bodied barley malt and aromatic caramel malt and refined with Nelson Sauvin hops. The green gold went into the brewing kettle and was then used for cold hopping. Westie’s beery monument is a drinkable blend of fruity elements and smooth grain.
