The traditional Kundmüller brewery from the idyllic Weiher has been producing good Weiher beer for more than 140 years. With heart and craft, the brewers have not only taken the Franconians by storm, but the whole world of beer. The masterfully brewed beers have already won countless awards in international competitions, the brewery has also received several awards and has even been able to name itself German craft brewery of the year since 2020. The Kundmüllers live a true success story and never forget one thing: the good beer and the Franconian zest for life.
Keller-Märzen is one of the classics in the wide range of the Franconian brewery. The naturally cloudy beer was first brewed to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the brewery and has been an absolute public favorite ever since. Unfiltered and conscious of tradition, Märzen is a tribute to barley juice and stands for everything that brewers love. Three kinds of malt give Märzen its strong character, the hop varieties Saphir and Spalter Select conjure up flavor. Thanks to its unique aroma and wide-ranging repertoire, the latter hops are, by the way, the favorite hops of master brewer Roland Kundmüller.
The Keller-Märzen flows into the glass in a deep amber tone and is wonderfully cloudy with yeast. A tempting scent of freshly baked bread, yeast dough and freshly mown, spicy grass rises from the stately, snow-white head of foam. The initial taste reveals a strong body with a fine balance of hops and malt as well as a considerable palette of rounded taste nuances.
