Although we know that it will eventually come to an end, sometime in January or February every year we reach the point where we just don’t feel like the cold, wet, wind and weather anymore. We’re fed up with the constant rain and the gray cloud cover, we don’t want to cuddle up in 100 layers anymore, we long for light and can hardly wait for the changeover to summertime. Desperation spreads and only airs again when spring is suddenly here. With the first warm rays of the sun, our mood turns 180 degrees and we feel the lightness of life again.
The team from the Kundmüller brewery in Weiher knows this feeling only too well and in winter of this year they came up with a light shandy in anticipation of summer. Now it’s ready and gives us a sparkling refreshment to match the beginning of the happy half of the year. The mixed drink combines the strong tartness of the light Weiherer Landbier with the fruity sweetness of their homemade lemonade. The brew is light-footed, wonderfully sparkling, tart and finely spicy - perfect for quenching your thirst!
