It's summer and we're looking for refreshment. We want to jump headfirst into a crystal-clear, ice-cold mountain lake, wear only the lightest clothes, enjoy our coffee with ice cubes and vanilla ice cream, eat watermelon morning, noon and night, take cold showers, get caught in a summer rain on the way home and sip ice-cold cocktails with mint after work.
At Maisel & Friends, the needs of the customer always come first, which is why they anticipated our cravings for fresh, fruity things weeks ago and created a beer to match. Sour Power is our thirst quencher for the next heatwave and tastes good even when the sun takes a break.
Sour Power is a so-called Sour Hazy IPA and, in addition to an astonishingly strong 6.3% alcohol content, brings an explosion of fruity flavors into the glass, thanks to the skilful use of the Comet, Galaxy and Kazbek hops. The potpourri of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, peach, currants and gooseberries is combined with a light acidity and is wonderfully fresh and crisp on the tongue. The SHIPA (we sense a new trend!) presents itself in a gently cloudy lemon yellow, adorned with an airy head of pure white foam and is at least as refreshing as jumping into a mountain lake.
All power to the sour!
