Strong, stronger, George!
Georg Tscheuschner is an expert in high-proof beers and a true brewing legend. His brewery in Oberasbach, Franconia, is aptly named Schorschbräu and has repeatedly produced the strongest bock in the world. And Schorsch wouldn’t be Schorsch if he didn’t keep coming up with new beer specialties that warm body and soul.
A new addition to the range is a voluminous Imperial Black Stout with a midnight black soul and appearance. A whole range of different special malts give this sweet sin its magical darkness, the powerful 12.5% alcohol content contributes a good deal of fire. The powerful stout focuses on full-bodied malt, roasted aromas, notes of freshly brewed coffee and delicately melting chocolate and pairs the powerful sweetness with an elegant hop bitterness. The velvety-soft mouthfeel and the velvety, almost creamy texture round off the beer enjoyment and make the Imperial Black Stout from Schorschbräu the perfect beer for special moments.
Due to its high alcohol content, the noble drop can be stored well without losing its taste. On the contrary: the beer gains in depth and taste through further storage. The flavors become more complex and multi-layered — assuming you can keep your hands off them for that long. If you plan to store it, it is better to buy several copies at the same time.
