The non-alcoholic beer from the Schlossbrauerei Ellingen is a real specialty among the low-alcohol beers. The Helle is brewed in the Pilsner style and contains the fine Ellinger hops, which are grown in the immediate vicinity of the brewery. The Franconian hops give the beer a wonderful tartness and a delicate fruitiness that conjures up freshness and elegance in the beer.
The special thing about the non-alcoholic from Fürst Carls, however, is the dry hops: The light is stuffed with the aromatic gold hops. This hop also comes from Ellingen and provides an additional hop kick. Following the brewing process, the alcohol is removed from the beer in a gentle process. The result is a fine, bitter beer with a harmonious range of aromas and a slim body.
The light flows in shiny gold into the glass and is adorned with a stable crown of white foam. The clear beer smells of floral hops, caramel and honey bread with butter. The initial taste reveals a light-footed stature with a bubbly mouthfeel and mild carbonic acid. The malt dominates the first sips with the taste of freshly baked bread, roasted grain, spicy honey, soft caramel and strong yeast. The hops join in the course of the drinking pleasure and deliver harmonious notes of tangy citrus fruits and a crisp bitterness.
