Anyone who thought that Max and Bryan had already reached the maximum amount of hops will be delighted with their latest creation! Demolition Can is a Double Dry Hopped Double IPA and not only has an impressive title, but also an impressive list of ingredients. There are only two types of hops in the beer, but with Idaho 7 Cryo and Citra Cryo anything but saved in terms of quantity. The crazy brewers threw hops around and brewed a beer that gave you the full hop slap.
Hops in huge quantities!
The hop bomb looks like freshly squeezed orange juice: bright yellow, wonderfully hazy and wonderfully juicy. A handsome amount of white foam crowns the masterpiece and exudes a scent that will make your mouth water. In the nose, fruity notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, lemon and grapefruit explode. The initial taste follows the olfactory first impression and pops: hops, hops, hops. A cocktail of tropical fruits meets pine resin and a great yeast spice. Soft malt offers the imposing hops a wonderful base and gives the beer its loose, flaky body. Despite the powerful 8.0% alcohol content, the DIPA is wonderfully light. Last but not least, this is probably due to the extremely mild bitterness that gives the beer its structure.
A hop festival!
