In our fast-moving times, trends are about as short-lived as ephemera: as soon as they see the light of day, they are already old news. A new hype is constantly popping up, this or that is hugely popular, only to be completely out again shortly afterwards. We’re constantly looking for the next big thing.
The brewery Yankee & Kraut lives and brews on the pulse of time and has therefore created a beer that is absolutely timeless in its elegance and its title: An instant classic that calls itself The Next Big Thing. The all-time hit from Ingolstadt is a Double Dry Hopped New England IPA and owes its exuberantly fruity character to a skilful symbiosis of the cryo versions of the hop varieties Loral, Simcoe, HBC 630 and Sabro. An impressive 7.3% alcohol content pushes the effectiveness of the noble drop.
In the glass, the beer presents itself completely en vogue: A heavy mist runs through the golden beer, a thick, creamy crown is enthroned. On the nose, the DDH NEIPA causes a stir with a fruit cocktail made from ripe fruit. The taste continues this impression and gives you a potpourri of soft malt, juicy tropical fruits and a pleasant bitterness. Overall, The Next Big Thing is drier than expected. Fine!
