The title of this juicy double dry hopped double New England IPA comes from the vocabulary of people barely old enough to drink beer themselves. Sugándese is content streamer jargon and is used in combination with explicit body parts to fool the other person. Since we are a few years too old to adequately explain the term, we prefer to focus on what we are really good at: enjoying beer.
Penned by Ingolstadt-based Yankee & Kraut, Sugándese is a fruity India Pale Ale brewed and tamped with Amarillo Cryo, Idaho Cryo and Simcoe Cryo hops. Pilsner and wheat malt as well as a load of oat flakes ensure the creamy consistency. The creation presents itself in the optics of freshly squeezed, densely cloudy orange juice and is crowned with a handful of white, fragrant foam. Smell and taste follow a line and beguile the senses with moderate malt, ripe pineapple, sparkling citrus freshness, earthy oat notes, sunny orange and ripe melon. The exuberant juiciness of the hops combines with a delicate fruit acidity and a herbal spiciness to create an experience for all the senses. A subtle bitterness accompanies the play of aromas and provides harmonious undertones that do not come to the fore.
