The impermanence of all being and all things is a phenomenon that has certainly fascinated people since the beginning of time. We find the subject in music and visual arts, in stories, novels, poems, in conversations with friends and strangers, and in our deepest thoughts. Death is inevitable and ever-present, but passing by has its perks: no emotion, no matter how stubborn and bottomless it feels, is permanent, and so are illness, sadness, stress, and other unpleasant things that are temporary.
Nürnberger Orca Brau aptly summarizes this knowledge in their latest work and provides us with a brew that reminds us of the beautiful sides of life with tropical fruit notes, crisp bitterness and dreamy clouds. All Of This Is Temporary is a Hazy Double India Pale Ale dry hopped with Cryo Pop, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. The beery pleasure pulls you out of every existential crisis and exhilarates melancholic spirits with a whopping 8.0% alcohol content.
In the glass, the fine drop presents itself in a densely cloudy, opaque grain gold. An ivory crown of medium-pored, firm foam sits atop and exudes an enticing scent. The first sip is a boisterous hop festival that lets notes of mango and pineapple, stone fruit and tropical fruits dance on the tongue.
So good and gone so soon!
