The Pink Boots Society is not a hiking club for people with a penchant for pink footwear, but rather an association dedicated to supporting female-read and non-binary people in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry. Under the umbrella of the pink boots, the organization works to promote FLINTA* and organizes seminars and programs. Young talents are supported through scholarships and, among other things, they fight for positive change in the beer market.
The project receives worldwide support from the hop dealer Yakima Chief and countless breweries: Every year, brewers from all corners of the planet work together with Yakima Chief to put together a package of various hop varieties, from which international breweries then brew beers, the proceeds of which go to the Pink Boots Society. Orca Brau from Nuremberg is part of this campaign and has come up with Nothing Without You based on this year’s hop package. Because the cold-hopped sour ale was so well received, there is now a second edition that has been pimped with fresh raspberries. Nothing Without You in the Raspberry Edition was brewed with the hop varieties Loral, Ekuanot and HBC 586 as well as a truckload of the pink fruits and combines fruity acidity, heavenly raspberry aroma and full-bodied hops to create an irresistible beer.
