At Barbarossa I Am, each beer is dedicated to a person or group of people. The Imperial Stout is nicknamed "The King" and honors the just, wise and influential rulers of this world with a dark treat. The Porter is a tribute to the hard-working people who toil in the ports of the world so that we have clothing, food, electronics and raw materials at our disposal.

Gose honors the professional group of coopers, who play a key role in the history of alcoholic beverages. Coopers are people who transform individual wooden staves into vessels using barrel hoops. Wines, spirits and beers undergo maturation in barrels during their production process - especially in the past, when there were no stainless steel tanks - so barrel making was a respected craft. Although demand has dropped significantly today, there are still people who practice cooperage and keep the tradition alive.

The beer-based homage to these tireless coopers flows into the glass in a delicately clouded lemon yellow and surprises with a powerful 6.5% alcohol content. Unlike a conventional Gose, the beer contains neither coriander nor salt. Instead, the sour beer has been mixed with toasted oak chips. Barbarossa’s interpretation is less sour than the original, but shines with wonderful vanilla and wood notes as well as a velvety soft malt base.
