The magic lamp is a legendary object: A djinn is said to live in it, who fulfills every heart’s desire as soon as it is freed. Over the centuries, fortune seekers and adventurers have traveled to the Far East in search of one of the gleaming golden lamps. Inexpressible wealth, health, happiness in love, house, garden, horse and treasures lure you, provided you only find one of the rare jinns in their golden prison.
We cannot say with certainty whether a wish-fulfilling Djinn lives in the magic lamp from Black Project. However, we do know that there is a very special sour beer in the Magic Lantern cans. The brewers have come up with a whole range of fruit beers, seasoned with pink Himalayan salt and characterized by their wonderful acidity and summery character.
The Magic Lantern passion fruit and blood orange version is no exception. The sour ale is brewed with wheat malt and fermentation is carried out by microbes that romp about in the brewery’s open refrigerated ship. The warm golden beer has a copper-colored shimmer and tastes of light malt, freshly squeezed orange juice and exotic passion fruit. A good dose of salt gives the beer an interesting twist and elegantly balances the fruity sweetness and acidity.
