Thai Thai is a beer that is supposed to be a reminder of the wild beginnings of the Oedipus brewery: when the four boys made their first brew, they did not have a brewery with fancy copper kettles. They brewed in the cramped four walls of their apartment and used pots and pans to put their ideas into practice. And the team was anything but conventional when it came to the ingredients. In order to test their limits and create phenomenal taste experiences, the four boys did not shy away from using unusual raw materials. In search of intense flavors and innovative ingredients, they roamed the lavishly laden stalls of the Amsterdam market and brought crazy things home to be brewed from.
Today the whole process is a bit more civilized and organized, but the four of them still have an appetite for unconventional raw materials. As an homage to old times and proof of their enthusiasm for experimentation, which still exists today, the friends Thai Thai came up with: The Spicy Tripel is bursting with exciting ingredients and is aromatically reminiscent of a homemade dish from a small street kitchen in Bangkok.
In addition to the Belgian abbey yeast and hand-picked hops, the flavor is given by spicy coriander, hot chilli, lemongrass with a lot of flair, juicy oranges and the aromatic Galangal.
Water, barley malt, hops, chili peppers, coriander, hot lemongrass, oranges, galangal root & yeast
