The Ulster Black Oatmeal Stout enchants you as soon as you pour it with its typical stout color. It comes in a deep black mahogany tone and forms a relatively stable, fine-pored foam. The latter is hazelnut brown. The Ulster Black Oatmeal Stout is, as the name suggests, brewed with oat flakes. These bring a nice creaminess to the beer and give it texture and depth. What is surprising is that the stout only has an alcohol content of 5%. It smells and tastes much more, the strong body gives the impression of a strong beer. In terms of taste, the smooth stout initially welcomes us with a nice note of freshly roasted coffee. The bitter notes of coffee and roasted malt are elegantly integrated and are offset by a full-bodied chocolate note.
The Ulster Black Oatmeal Stout is an unusual representative of its kind: it is particularly drinkable and harmonious and impresses us immensely.
