Everyone knows them, the exaggerated explosions of burning cars in American films. A car that has had an accident stands in the middle of the street, small flames lick the front of the hood and suddenly, from one second to the next, the vehicle bursts into all its individual parts with a huge bang. Fragments shoot in all directions, a meter-high conflagration spreads, deafening noise breaks out and the protagonists standing around are thrown five meters backwards by the pressure wave. The whole thing happens without warning and usually for no good reason.

What does that have to do with this beer? Well, Johnny Crash from Espiga has about the same effect on your taste buds as a suddenly exploding vehicle has on people standing by.

The extra-juicy New England IPA appears in innocent-looking peach gold in the glass and is adorned with a small crown of fine, white foam. The scent already gives an idea of what might happen when you first drink it: large notes of fruit meet soft malt and green hops. The first sip explodes on the tongue and presents a real taste bomb. Tropical notes of golden pineapple, ripe mango, exotic passion fruit and sun-drenched orange flood your palate like a tsunami. A lot of malt rounds off the beer with a soft sweetness and gives it a smooth mouthfeel that complements the fruit escapade wonderfully.
