Forest berries are a very special specialty. To harvest them, you have to hike deep into the lush green thicket and follow the paths of deer and wild boar. Between treetops towering into the sky and soft moss, one or the other ray of sunshine always finds its way to the ground and it is precisely in these places that the delicate green bushes of blueberries grow. Blue dots on the delicate branches give off an enticing fragrance and promise exquisite pleasure.
The Spanish brewery Espiga knows the siren call of the little fruits only too well and has followed it with pleasure. For their latest creation, the brewers have handpicked blue and blackberries into a delicious fruit beer that enchants with the smell, color and summery taste of freshly harvested forest berries.
Hey Berry presents itself in the irresistible color of sun-kissed raspberries in the glass and adorns itself with a small rose crown. Three types of malt ensure a heavenly creamy mouthfeel, which wonderfully complements the soft berry notes. The earthy sweetness is accompanied by a fruity acidity, which gives the beer contrast, structure and freshness. Thanks to the relatively low alcohol content of 3.5%, the beer is also extremely tasty and is wonderfully suitable as a summer refreshment for in between meals.
