The latest creation from Espiga comes with triple strength, a whole lot of nutritious hops and an incredible variety of five different grains. The monster is called Looking For More — even we couldn't have thought of a better name!
Espiga's fabulous Triple India Pale Ale brings a whopping 9.5% alcohol content to the table and, in addition to a wonderfully smooth, velvety-soft mouthfeel, delivers a summery palette of sun-kissed peaches and juicy tropical fruit. Strong malt supports the light-footed variety of fruit, the percentages are cleverly hidden in the diverse flavors and only become important at the end of the beer enjoyment. The powerful beer specialty flows into the glass in a heavily cloudy orange and is adorned with a crown of airy, white foam. The smell of the beer is hoppy: the scent of fresh, green hop cones mixes with tropical fruit and tangy citrus fruits in the nose. The first drink is like a large sip of juice. A wave of fruit floods the palate and tickles the taste buds with a summery composition of mango, pineapple, passion fruit and orange. Soft, sweet malt skilfully underpins the fruit explosion and, in addition to the fine sweetness, provides a good texture. The bitterness remains discreetly in the background and gently complements the fruit notes.
