Imagine you are exploring the endless expanses of the universe with all its unknown species, planets, stars and comets. You hunt through space in a spaceship, traverse glittering mists, dangerous asteroid showers patter on the hull, distant galaxies lure you with unexpected adventures and your only companion is curiosity. The Espiga brewery is very happy to pursue such daydreams and has developed a beer that is just the right drink for the astronauts, explorers, adventurers and researchers among you.
The double dry-hopped India Pale Ale bears the apt name Star Hunter and owes its tropical fruity taste and wonderful spiciness to the hop varieties Aramis, Citra, Hallertauer Blanc and Simcoe. All hops were used both in the brewing process and in the subsequent dry hopping. The intergalactic pleasure presents itself in a warm honey yellow in the glass and exudes a heavenly scent of white grapes and sun-kissed citrus fruits. The first sip reveals a strong body that continues the first olfactory impression one-to-one: fine fruity notes of light grapes, ripe peaches, tangy citrus fruit mix on the palate with freshly mown grass and a harmonious spiciness. A dry finish crowns the drinking experience and immediately makes you want to go for the next round.
