A good porter is a beer that keeps you warm in wind and weather. With its powerful character, the fine drop delivers warmth that spreads through body and soul. Our friends from the Polish brewery Pinta have added another slice: Their Imperial Baltic Porter comes with an incredible 11.0% alcohol content. The violent revolutions are integrated into a powerful aroma, which is dominated by intense notes of plum and pumpernickel. A thick, velvety soft and wonderfully creamy consistency crowns the luxurious creation.
Pinta’s Portermass flows into the glass in a deep mahogany tone and is adorned with a hand’s breadth of hazelnut-brown foam. A dark symphony of freshly roasted coffee beans, caramel malt and chocolate fills the air and entices you to take the first sip. The initial taste is full-bodied and voluminous. A powerful sweetness settles on the tongue and palate and tickles the taste buds with notes of candied red fruit, toasted malt, nougat, chocolate and milk coffee. A hint of vanilla and a crisp, roasted bitterness cleverly balance out the sinful sweetness and make Portermass a tasty treat.
The Portermass from Pinta is available in different versions. Our favorites are the Classic and the Portermass with Cocoa Nibs, Vanilla, and Cinnamon .
