The brewers at Seven Island Brewery are known for their great passion for powerful stouts. For the Greeks, the stout is the only true style of beer and combines the power and influence of the tsars with beguiling depths of taste and a velvety-soft, irresistible texture. They dedicate a large part of their time to brewing the finest stouts and have summarized their extremely successful creations in a series: The © BEASTMODE series consists of a handful of artfully brewed stout beers that will drive you crazy with their complexity, luxurious taste profile and smooth mouthfeel.
The outrageously good Tromos is now followed by Kravgi: The Greek word Κραυγή stands for a mighty scream, similar to that of the angry lion that can be found on the label. Behind the majestic king of the beasts hides a beer the color of gloomy darkness. A seductive scent rises from the hazelnut-brown foam, telling of the exquisite ingredients of the beer. Kravgi is brewed with the roasted fruits of the carob tree. Carob is known for its incredibly chocolaty taste and goes wonderfully with the coffee beans, pecans, peanuts, vanilla and tonka beans, which were also brewed.
Kravgi is a dark symphony of gently melting chocolate notes that meet roasted nuts, strong coffee and exotic vanilla on the palate.
