There is something for every taste in the wide range of the Kundmüller Brewery. In addition to Franconian classics, there are excellent craft beers, organic beers and those that do not really fit into a category with their extraordinary character.
The Weiherer Keller-Pils is definitely one of those unusual beers. The naturally cloudy beer is part of the brewery’s organic range, as it is brewed exclusively with hops and malt from controlled organic agriculture. In addition, the Keller-Pils carries the title “Solarbier”; A name that guarantees that the beer is produced with the electricity that the brewery’s own solar cells elicit from the Franconian sun. With its balanced character and a fine balance between hops and malt, the Keller-Pils is also a special example in terms of style.
The Weiherer Keller-Pils flows into the glass in a delicately clouded gold tone. The beer is crowned with an impressive amount of snow-white, firm foam and exudes a seductive scent of spicy herbs, fine citrus peel, earthy malt and freshly mown grass. The initial taste reveals a slim body with lively liveliness and a great palette of flavors. Unusually malt-accentuated, soft aromas of freshly baked bread crust and grain caress the palate before the hops set their clean mark. Notes of grass, spicy herbs, resin and tangy citrus fruit round off the play of aromas spectacularly.
A masterful pilsner with a fabulous Franconian character.
