A good wheat is the perfect way to start the day. Anyone who thinks they can hear an alcoholic’s thirst for beer in this sentence is clearly not from Bavaria. The principle “No beer before four” counts for all beer styles except wheat. The good Helle is a very popular breakfast as a liquid side dish to white sausage, sweet mustard and pretzel and is very popular in Bavaria. Of course you can drink a wheat at any time of the day, not everyone has a stomach as strong as the Germans from the south.
One of our favorites in the morning, at noon and in the evening is the Weiherer Weizen Hell. The fruity wheat beer comes with a pleasant 5.2% alcohol content and a whole truckload of taste. The Weiherer beer comes in a classic guise and flows into the glass in a wonderfully cloudy, rich amber tone. A large amount of white, airy foam sits enthroned on the beer and exudes the typical wheat bouquet of banana and spicy clove. In the initial taste you notice the special character of the beer: Instead of heavy and sweet, the Weiherer Weizen is unusually refreshing and slim. The good Franconian brewing water gives the beer a velvety-soft texture that brings out the creamy banana aromas, the gentle malt and the spice wonderfully.
Mild, soft and extremely fine!
