We love autumn. The foliage turns variegated and covers the ground in a crackling, rustling layer. When the sun shines from the sky, it bathes the entire city in glittering gold. The houses are decorated with carved pumpkins and chrysanthemums in all colors of the rainbow, the first fairy lights adorn windows and trees. The days are getting shorter and more comfortable and a certain calm returns, which is good for us after the adventurous summer. Above all, however, we love autumn because it is the time when bock beer is tapped. It starts at the end of October and the celebrations last well into November.
If you don’t have a brewery with such an event in your area, you can at least secure the fine beer with us. We have a well-assorted selection of delicious bock beers that make the golden autumn that little bit more glamorous!
A tasty example from Franconia is the Helle Bock from the St. GeorgenBräu. The Buttenheim brewery produces its beers from the crystal-clear water of its own spring and only uses hand-picked ingredients. Malt from Franconian farmers and hops from the Hallertau and Spalt are processed into an exquisite drop using a double mashing process and a maturing period of two months. Your Heller Bock is wonderfully malty and simply good.
