Because a goat is basically nothing more than a buck, this name fits this playful Maibock from Sudden Death Brewing like a glove. We don’t know if the brewers had to experience the frightening scenario firsthand, but their latest creation tells of cheeky billy goats.

The Maibock with the humorous name has a decent 6.7% alcohol content and flows into the glass the color of ripe ears of corn. The seasonal drop was flavored with dried elderflowers, which are noticeable both in the scent and in the taste. After a floral first impression, the initial taste scores with nutty malt, floral notes of elderberry, creamy honey and a hint of fruity hops. The bock is spring fresh and is accompanied by a moderate bitterness.

Fortunately, the cheeky goat is not included.
