The doctrine of the Holy Trinity has a long tradition in Christianity. As early as the 2nd century there were theories on the three-part nature of God, composed of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Trinity is one of the supreme principles of Western belief and is also found in popular culture today. Because the brewing industry has its finger on the pulse, some of our breweries have of course also given their thoughts to this.
Together with Unverhopft and Schwarze Rose Craft Beer, Kuehn Kunz Rosen came up with the idea of three hops . The malty counterpart to the hoppy India Pale Ale comes from the Nuremberg Orca Braus: its three-malt variety is a so-called WeihRauch Eisbock, which counters the hoppy trinity with a malty abundance. The divine brew was created in cooperation with the teams from Freigeist Bierkultur and Reservoir Dogs as well as the Bierschoff. The basis is the WeihRauchbock, which has been flavored with self-smoked malt. To top off this exquisite beer, the brewers have frozen the finished brew. This technique removes part of the water from the beer and makes it more potent and tasty.
The matured, stored and bottled triple malt delivers a heavy 11.5% alcohol content and an angelic symphony of full-bodied malt, gentle smoke, raisins marinated in rum, red dried fruit and fine dark chocolate.
Sinfully good!
