The house beer at Bierothek® Frankfurt is a red ale, which we like best after an eventful day at work. The Skyline Red Ale flows into the glass in a wonderfully bright copper red and forms a beige head of foam. A wonderful potpourri of tempting scents rises from the medium-pored, stable foam. First, the malt presents itself: notes of soft caramel meet a sweet grain note. But the hops also have a strong influence. A fruity sweetness spreads across the nose and brings with it aromas of red berries and apples. The initial taste reveals a loose, light malt body that provides the perfect stage for the hops. Nutty caramel, oven-fresh bread and red malt meet the dark aroma of red fruits on the tongue. Skyline is fruity, soft and malty and at the same time wonderfully bitter. Bierothek Frankfurt's house beer is a real thirst quencher and extremely drinkable. A moderate carbonic acid allows the aromas to bubble delicately, the medium body and the 5.2% alcohol content allow you to enjoy a second bottle.
