Golden Honey is the second beer in the group of the Kassel label craftBee. After the voluminous summer hit Amber Honey, Golden Honey represents the lightness and exuberant joy of the young spring.
In order to pack all the emotions and tastes of spring into one beer, the two Michaels sent their winged helpers to scour Kassel for the lush treasures of spring. Flowering cherry trees, bright yellow forsythias, tulips, wood anemones, golden daffodils and countless other sources were flown to. The bees have collected the essence of spring and preserved it in delicious spring blossom honey. This was then used to make a beer that is as light and happy as spring and tastes wonderfully like young happiness, joie de vivre and days that are getting longer.
Golden Honey flows into the glass in the color of the sun and has a snow-white crown of fluffy foam on the slightly clouded gold body. On the nose, the honey beer presents itself as flowery, playful, fruity and delicately spicy. The initial taste reveals a honey-accentuated beer with a tangy character and a delicate bitterness. A honey fireworks bloom on a soft malt bed, rounded off by fruity hop notes and a subtle acidity.
