There are situations where even men want to pop a cork. Bottle caps do not require a special occasion, but there are occasions when it can be a little more celebratory. When you become a father, when the club wins the trophy, when your mother-in-law finally packs her bags and goes back home, when the new ride-on lawnmower can do even more than expected or when a raise comes along - then you let the cork pop. If you don't like champagne despite all the festivities, you can now choose beer! The Dutch brewery Lowlander has a beer in its range that comes in a 0.75l bottle similar to sparkling wine and is sealed with a real cork. Basically the perfect sparkling wine for everyone who doesn't like sparkling wine.
Lowlanders Botanical Brut is an exceptionally dry beer that gets its character from the yeast used: A Riesling yeast conjures up a champagne-like taste in the beer and gives it a wonderfully dry quality that is otherwise only known from fine sparkling wine. In addition to the special yeast, white grapes and spruce needles are brewed, which provide a wine-like sweetness and resinous spice.
The Botanical Brut is a sparkling beer that tastes of sour gooseberries, fresh citrus and spicy resin. The finish is incomparably dry and tempts you to drink the next glass straight away.
A festive treat that men and women will enjoy equally!
