Sometimes you just have to do things at full speed. Exuberant joy prevents one from proceeding with thought and patience, instead one jumps headlong into pleasure without batting an eyelid.
The brewery Lord Chambray has created a beer that awakens exactly this feeling in one and therefore directly called their drinkable work A Toda Velocidad, in English at full speed. Brewed in the style of a Mexican lager, the beer features a generous handful of lime zest alongside the usual suspects. This ingredient is elementary in Mexican cuisine and is also indispensable when it comes to beer. To spare you the fresh lime wedge on the rim of the glass, the brewers at Lord Chambray and the collaborating brewery To Øl brewed the lime directly.
The result is a refreshing lager with a light malt character and sparkling carbon dioxide. The Mexican-inspired drink presents itself in the glass with the color of ripe corn and has a crown of white foam on the slightly cloudy body. The taste is made up of mild bitterness, sunny cereal notes and the fruity freshness of juicy limes. Thanks to its light-footed, summery nature, it harmonises wonderfully with Mexican or Mediterranean dishes and particularly complements the flavors of seafood and fish.
