Summertime is beer garden time, we are sure to all agree on that. As soon as the sun sends the first warm rays and the fresh green sprouts, the beer gardens and cellars open their gates everywhere. Especially in Franconia there is a real beer garden culture: The freshly brewed beer was previously stored in temperature-stable rock cellars and the landlords poured the good beer on the premises in front of or above. Today there is a cellar in every village in Franconia, no matter how small, which supplies the customers who pour in in droves with freshly tapped beers and hearty home-style cooking. In some beer gardens the focus is clearly on the beer and, as in the old days, you can bring your own snack and enjoy it in the shade of sweeping chestnut trees.

Since we miss the beer garden time again in October, we have put together a beer package that reminds us of the glorious summer days in the cellar and brings a piece of beer garden to our home.
