The contrast between light and dark is one that has fascinated mankind since the beginning of time. While the day is the time of activity and life, the night spreads a mystical atmosphere and we come to rest. This contrast also has an exciting dynamic in other couples: white chocolate is heavenly sweet and melts in the mouth, dark chocolate, on the other hand, shines with tartness and a fine bitterness; dark shades have a calming, grounding effect, while light shades wake us up, give us energy and invigorate. When it comes to beer, there are also clear differences between golden and mahogany-colored brews: a dark porter, for example, is malty, wonderfully creamy, wonderfully sweet and spicy, while a crisp pale gold Pilsner scores with sparkling freshness, plenty of hops and a slim body. We think both have their appeal.
An excellent representative of the sunny beers is the light beer. This Franconian delicacy scores with a wonderful balance and an extremely drinkable character. We love the wide variety of different Heller from Franconia and particularly like drinking the example from the Meister house. The small brewery from Unterzaunsbach presents us with a dark golden drink with an ivory foam crown. Scent and taste are characterized by a sparkling bouquet of spicy grain and fresh hops.
Full-bodied, tart and delicious!
