The hop kick for your Monday!
After Funday Sunday, Monday is usually the sobering start to the new week. Crazy Mondays are the order of the day and little can save this day once it really gets going. Forget your umbrella in the pouring rain, step in the deepest puddle in history, be late for work and your boss is in a bad mood - sometimes it seems as if all the evil in the world comes together on this special day of the week. The Greek microbrewery Septem has therefore brewed something to save the day and the week for all of us. A pilsner that kicks off the end of work perfectly and, if necessary, tastes good on Monday morning.
There's actually only one thing that helps against a bad, nasty assembly: a truckload of hops. The brewers at Septem know this too and have selected two hand-picked hop varieties for their Monday work. Complemented by three types of malt, the hops really come into their own. The cool blonde appears in a sunny gold and has a creamy, white foam on the head. A gentle carbonic acid brings out the fine scent of lemon blossoms, citrus fruits and green hops. The taste of Monday's Pilsener is subtly sweet with a crisp, refreshing bitterness. Hops and malt form a well-balanced symbiosis. In the aftertaste, both the citrus zest and the full malt power dominate and combine to create a finish that begs for more.
This mighty delicious Pilsener will sweeten the worst of all Mondays and tastes good even if Monday is actually your lucky day!
